Toulouse has a unique mix: 19th-century mansions in brique foraine (the local terracotta brick), Haussmann apartment blocks, 1960s-80s residential buildings, and the post-war suburban pavilion ring. Each type has its own pitfalls — joints that move, thick plaster load-bearing walls, old timber floors — and its own solutions.
We work daily on these typologies. For central Haussmann buildings, we handle co-ownership constraints, narrow stairwell access, and the preservation of original features (mouldings, parquet, fireplaces). For 1970s-80s pavilions, exterior thermal insulation tends to dominate the demand.
